Terms of Reference (TOR) for psychological Mental Health remote Support Services

 

1. Background

The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is a global organization dedicated to ensuring people are free to make choices about their sexuality and well-being.

The Arab World Region is one of the six regions of the Federation in the world. The International Planned Parenthood Federation works in the Arab World Region with 12 Member Associations and 2 collaborative partners in Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine, Somaliland, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, Jordan and Pakistan.

Given the challenging circumstances faced in Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon, providing mental health support services is crucial for our staff member in our region to effectively serve their communities.

 

2. Objective

The primary objective of this service request is to outline the requirements for acquiring remote mental health support services. The selected provider will be tasked with delivering professional remote mental health services to help address the needs of individuals within our member associations.

 

3. Scope of Services

The service provider will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of remote mental health support, comprising:

  • 100 individual remote sessions tailored to address mental health needs, including counseling, therapy, and psychoeducation.

Each session should be conducted online or through other accessible remote methods that ensure privacy and confidentiality.

 

4. Duration of Services

The contract will cover 100 individual sessions. There is no time-bound restriction for the duration of the contract.

 

5. Reporting Requirements

The service provider must provide regular reports detailing:

- Attendance list for individual sessions

- Participant feedback on the services received

- Any challenges encountered and proposed solutions

 

7. Quotation Requirements

We request a detailed quotation that includes the following:

- Scope of services

- Types of support offered

- Frequency and duration of sessions

- Pricing structure and payment terms

- Any discounts or special offers available for nonprofit organizations

- CVs

 

8. Evaluation Criteria

Proposal will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

- Relevance and quality of the proposed services

- Experience in providing remote mental health support in conflict-affected areas

- Cost-effectiveness and clarity of the pricing structure

- Feedback from previous clients or references
